“It’s changed the way I think and the way I do my work. It’s a whole process, and I’ve also found that with everything I do now, I try to be creative.” – Petone Groom, 2019 Māori and Pasifika Scholarship recipient, who’s currently studying our Master of User Experience Design.
Applications close March 22nd 2020
Weta Digital Scholarship
Weta Digital Human Resources Manager Brendan Keys said the scholarship is an extension of the enduring relationship between the company and the school and is intended to boost applications from those interested in pursuing visual effects as a career.
The Programme Director of Design Technology, Raqi Syed, was the Senior Technical Director at Weta Digital on Avatar, The Planet of the Apes films, and The Hobbit Trilogy so students are taught by the best.
Keep an eye out for a possible 2020 scholarship
