We are very excited to now offer our Master of User Experience Design (MUXD) and Master of Professional Business Analysis (MBusAn) programmes in Auckland (for domestic students) from July 2020 to assist with those intending to change careers into the dynamic and fast-growing ICT industry.
“The COVID-19 crisis has highlighted how much we depend on technology and the opportunities and careers associated with the ICT industry required to support the recovering economy,” Lynda Turner, Director of the Wellington ICT Graduate School said.
Both our MUXD (delivered by Victoria University of Wellington’s School of Design) and MBusAn (delivered by Victoria University of Wellington’s School of Information Management) programmes are designed for people from diverse backgrounds and both recent graduates as well as experienced candidates who want to broaden their career opportunities are welcome.
Our MUXD will teach students all aspects of UX from understanding people’s perspectives to the creation of the designs they interact with. Whilst our MBusAn will teach students about business and systems analysis to management and strategy so they can solve complex business problems. They’re hands-on programmes that provide students with real-world experiences.
These programmes will initially be offered online, following the same format as that in Wellington, with the final trimester being a capstone project working alongside industry based in Auckland. Lectures and tutorials will be recorded in addition to online interactive sessions. There are facilities in central Auckland that we plan to utilize for events and groupwork.
To enrol for these programmes in Auckland, please enrol as normal for the Wellington intake and let Lauren (our Academic Advisor) know that you’ll be located in Auckland via email at email@example.com. We’re hosting two Zoom info sessions (one for MBusAn on Tuesday May 19th at 3pm and one for MUXD on Friday May 22nd at 2pm) please email Lauren if you want to attend or if you have questions.
